What is the 37’S capacity?
Our third floor Grand Ballroom’s maximum capacity is 200 seated, and is the perfect location for your intimate affair or extravagant event.
What makes the Thirty seven Unique?
Our historic building is the only venue in downtown Waynesville with a Grand Ballroom. Built in 1927, The 37 is still the tallest building in downtown and our elevator was the first implemented in Waynesville. Between the mountain views and breathtakingly ornate Grand Ballroom, The Thirty Seven is truly a one of a kind historic gem.
What types of events do you host?
While The 37 is primarily a wedding and special events venue. We are also available for corporate retreats, holiday parties, and conferences. Regarding nuptials, we host full-scale weddings and receptions, as well as more intimate elopements and micro-weddings.
Is parking available onsite?
The 37 has onsite an onsite parking lot directly adjacent to the building with 18 spaces. Overnight parking is permitted in the parking lot. Waynesville also has an abundance of free street parking if your guest count exceeds our dedicated parking lots capacity.
What vendors am I required to use?
We require a minimum day-of coordination package, contracted through Avail Weddings. We ask that you use an approved caterer from our preferred vendor list - all have been vetted and are experienced in our space. Bartending packages must be contracted through Avail Weddings. All other vendors are your choice- your venue manager can always share recommendations after you’ve booked with us!
Do vendors have to have licenses and insurance?
Yes, we require all vendors to have proper licensing and adequate insurance to cover potential liability and incidents.
May I Provide My Own Alcohol?
Absolutely! The 37 has a rolling bar in the Grand Ballroom - ready to serve your own alcohol. We do require a bartender from Avail Weddings for all alcohol service. NC’s one day liquor permit is required for events serving liquor.
When Can I Hold my ceremony rehearsal?
You may book a rehearsal for your wedding two months prior to your wedding date. A maximum of a one-hour rehearsal is included in all wedding packages. Rehearsal times are subject to the availability of the venue. Our management team will make every effort to schedule a rehearsal time that is most convenient for our clients.
