Our renovation plan and philosophy.

The 37 Venue is so special because of its rich history and symbolism to downtown Waynesville. We want to make every effort to preserve the ornate and bespoke details that are native to the gorgeous architecture.

The renovation process of The 37 has been intentional and measured in every sense. We have spent over 15 months carefully rejuvenating the the building, and there are still aspects that we would like to continue to improve on. Unlike many real estate professionals, we are working to preserve and respect the essence of the deep history of The 37.

We truly want to create a venue that our local community can be proud of and where guest and visitors can enjoy their special day.

Preserve.

The first time we walked through what would become, “The 37” we knew that is was a treasure worth preserving. Our venue is truly a one-of-a kind offering, unique to Waynesville, NC. Our primary goal is to retain the integrity and character of this historic building.

Modernize.

An inherent part of renovating a historic building, is necessary modernization measures. In addition to modern appliance and utility upgrades, we’re thoroughly exploring the best avenues for updates that enhance the original design features. This historic venue will echo with the splendor of the past, while implementing the creature comforts of the future.

Listen.

As more couples and companies rent our beloved space for events, we aim to listen to their valuable feedback. There’s no better way to plan a renovation than to actively test avenues, and see what works and what doesn’t.
